Not able to open 3DS MAX ’12

Downloading from an authorized website, I have installed 3DS MAX ’12 in my system. When I open the application, I just receive an error message like- “c:WindowsWinSxSx86_microsoft.vc90.mfc_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_9.0.030729.4148_none_4bf5400abf9d60b7mcfc90.dd is either not designed

Can anyone please help me in this regard ?

Hello Christopher,

This seems that you have a DLL file error. To resolve the issue please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Download your missing mfc90u DLL file from this link.

2. Unzip the DLL file you downloaded. 

3. Or directly extract your file to the Win32 folder.

4. Open 3DS MAX again. You will not see the error message again
