Not able to launch any programs or games because of JVM error

Hello Friends,

I’m having issues with my Vista HOME Premium 32bit OS. I can’t launch any programs or games because it gives me dll errors (see screenshot below). I tried to do System Restore and I think it becomes worst; I’m getting another error “JVM could not be started…” (see second screenshot).  I even get this error when trying to do some online games.

Please help me

Thanks in advance.

The JVM could not be started. The maximum heap size (-Xmx) might be too large or an antivirus or firewall tool block the execution.

C:Windowssystem32MSVCR100.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it complains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

Hi,

I have several solutions; you might want to try which one will solve your problem.

1.  Memory heap size
The error occurs because you set too much memory in your operating system.  Reconfigure your Operating System and assign memory size lower than 1200m. 1200m is the default setting so it is quite big, try something lower like 512m.

2. Check for compatibility
You need to make sure that you should also update your Java software to make sure that it is compatible with the games that you are running, or check what version of Java does your game software requires.  This might solve the problem.

3. Kill the processes
Check if you are running Java processes.  For example if you have a browser and it is running Java on the background.  Kill the browser and other applications that run Java using your Task Manager. After that, you can rerun your games again.
