If you did not make any changes that might have been tragic and thus denying you access to your primary hard drive, then it may be possible that a virus has invaded your primary hard drive and thus preventing you from accessing it.

You may not have noticed any changes, but things downloading files from the internet are always directed and stored to the Downloads Folder that is located on the primary hard drive. And therefore, without noticing, in the process of downloading some file from the internet, you might have downloaded a file that had malware embedded in it, and when you executed the file it caused the tragic problem on your computer that is even preventing you the rights to access the primary hard drive.

The ultimate to that problem may not be good for it may require that you format your computer to get rid of that problem.
