Sir,
I have a windows XP professional and i was just install my system this morning. All updates were made except Google Chrome. So, I run the update of Chrome and during the update, it gave me this error message with some error codes.
Take a look at the image attached.

This may mean that the Google chrome application and its file installed on your computer may have gotten corrupted after you installed your operating system. You may need to completely remove it and install it back.
To uninstall, go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > look for Google Chrome > Removed or Uninstall. It may be best to restart your computer after the removal of the application for the settings to be refreshed.
To install the application, you just need to download the installer of Google chrome available on the internet and do a restart afterwards.
