Hi,

I have a problem on how to connect my mobile to the computer.

I use Nokia PC Suite 6.84 Release 10 and my mobile phone is N Series.

And my operating system on my laptop is Vista.

While I was installing the Nokia PC suite the following pop up error appears :

Error writing to file: C:Config.Msie96973.rbf. Verify

that you have access to that directory.

Is it a problem with my Operating system or with the version of the Nokia PC Suite?

I cannot connect my mobile to the Laptop.

Is there someone who can tell me how to ignore or remove this error from appearing?

Thanks so much,

Goodbye Guys .

Are you using your own computer? Are you an administrator in your computer operating system? Or just being a guest user?

Now let us see the error message is written when you install pc suite.
Error writing to write to file: C:Config.Msi e96973.rbf. Verify That you have access to that directory.

In the message is clear that can not be done writing Config.Msi file in the directory C: then the installation of PC Suite can not be done. You should check your user status on the computer, either as administrator or guest user. Because apparently you do not have access and authority to change the directory C:

On your computer, only the administrator or a certain user has access and can make changes to the directory C:

All you have to do is contact the administrator, so you have access rights to the directory C:. So you can install PC Suite successfully.

This is a common problem in Nokia software. Try this step, Check is it working with Vista and check your data cable again. then not unplug your phone and reinstall it from your setup file.  If not download latest another version of PC suit and install it. It will be work. Good luck<
