My father worked in Turkey for almost 2 years. Before going back home, he purchased a second hand Nokia N8 in Turkey. The phone's language is Turkish. He gave the phone to me. But I can't understand Turkish language and he's out of the country to help me. In Nokia N8 how to change language Turkish to English? Could you please provide me with the step-by-step? Thanks.

What You Have To Do Is Simple, but it's a little tricky because you have use the icons to find the path..
1.Press the Menu Button
2.Then Select Setting its default icon is a SILVER WRENCH
3.Next You Have To Select Phone, default icon is a BLUE PHONE it should be the 3RD line from the top..
4.Then Select Language its icon should be a WORLD MAP it is also the 3RD line form the top
5.On the next selection select the first line which is the Phone Language Setting
6.Finally on the selection select "ENGLISH" then ok
.
7.Phone will prompt to restart then you are fine
If This Seems too much work you can just factory reset the phone but YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA ON THE PHONE
to do that
1.Turn Off the Phone
2.Hold “Volume Down + Camera Key + Menu Key” and press power button until your phone vibrates.
3.Wait till Phone Starts ….
**if by any chance English language is not in the language list, then it means your phone's firmware does not support English language then you must upgrade the firmware manually it that is the case you ask me I can guide along the flashing**

its very simple you just have to simply follow the steps given below and carefuly match the options as i'm gonna tell you.
Step1
Press the menu botton
Step2
Then go to the settings menu as it must be like "ayarları" in turkish placed at the bottom of the first column which looks like a wrench
Step3
Now go to the "telefon" which is at number3 in the list and it looks like a phone.
Step4
Now select "diller" which is at number 3 in the list and it seems like a map of blue color (diller is languages actually)
Step5
Now select the first option which will be "telefon dili"
Step6
and then select "İngilizce" which is your desired language ENGLISH and then press ok which will be "tamam"
Congratulations now you are done with your work and your phone language is now english enjoy 🙂
