After getting informed by Nokia suite about the availability of firmware 25.007 for my Nokia N8, I tried my level best to install it. But whenever I clicked on it, I received an error saying Error : Software update ,Service is unavailable,which you can see in the short picture as well.

Hi,

kindly check if your antivirus has a firewall that is blocking the nokia suite from downloading the update. If not, input *0000# on your phone dialer and dial that number.it checks the current OS version on your phone below, there is an option of check for updates that will do an OTA(Over the Air) update and check if an update is available for download for your phone.
 
If there are no updates,then go to nokia.com and download the nokia software updater.Install it and try updating your phone.please make sure you have fully charged your phone and back up all its contents.
Also if your phone is locked to a carrier,kindly ask them if they have allowed the updates for your phone.

Hall Sandra,

From the error message you are getting, it appears like you do not have access to the internet at the moment on your Nokia phone. Note that the app needs to go online and then download updates from there, and therefore you will need to ensure that your phone can access the internet.
