Nokia Lumia 70 makes a record of selfie taken by a group of more than 1000 or perfectly said 1,151 people in Bangladesh. Still on the top with more than 3 million, maintains its position is Ellen DeGeneres's Oscar selfie. Nokia Lumia 730 makes a record for the greatest number of crowds in its selfie.
I guess when it comes to selfie, the current biggest selfie chain according to the Guinness Book of World Records is the one with 279 people standing in line and taking their selfies. The current attempt to break the world record in selfie was done in Bangladesh by Microsoft in partnership with Coca-Cola using the mid-range Nokia Lumia 730 Smartphone.
The picture taken with 1,151 people was posted in Microsoft Lumia Bangladesh Facebook page. It intends to break the world’s record in selfie with the “most number of people with recognizable faces” and to get an accurate head count, all the participants had to register at the event. Microsoft is still waiting for the confirmation from the Guinness Book of World Records.
They used the phone’s front-facing camera when the picture was taken. Nokia Lumia 730’s front-facing camera or the secondary camera supports 5 megapixels with 1080p video capability. The primary camera, on the other hand, supports 6.7 megapixels with LED flash, autofocus, and Carl Zeiss optics.
