Nokia cannot compete with Apple and Android devices

The Nokia's Lumia lineup cannot contend with Apple(iPhone)  and Android in demand, this is according to a European carriers who are striving  to put up for sale the latest Windows handsets?Why is this the case?

Yes, I’ve heard about the thing that Nokia is on a down slide. I believe that the main reason for this problem is that Nokia is reluctant to everything that is new, like Android. They make the best phones for battery life, and reliability but struggle with the operating system, Symbian is outdated, so is Windows Phone 8. This is where Samsung comes in, with cheap phones, Android based phones, and with very good functionality. Nokia has to realize that in 5 to 10 years, almost everybody will have smartphones, and probably the Android market will grow and grow.
