Recently Dropbox announced that they are not going to create new public folder in any new Dropbox account after July 31.Public folder will soon be officially replaced by a new link feature. Can anybody tell what will be the new feature?

You heard the right thing, Dropbox is going to kill the public folder option. On August 1 it will become history. They are saying that the public folder option will no longer will be available.
Public folder option was the easiest way to share files through online. But the company says that this option will be replaced by another option. If you are using dropbox with public folder option they suggest better to change it.
The dropbox will replace this 'public folder' feature by the new feature announced at April. Which was the link option. The users call it "GET LINK" option. ( I have attached a photo of it ).
However we want to satisfy with that from August 1. Its quiet bad news for the Dropbox users, but we can't change it.
