No disc in the disc drive

My counter strike game was working fine even without a CD. But then I updated my computer system it just started to send me this error "There is no disk in the disk drive" I tried re-installing the game but it still wouldn't work.

I really want to play my game already.

Please help me!

Hello,

  • Please download a small software named "DAEMON TOOLS" by giving search on Google. It is a very small software.
  • Now create a .nrg image file of the game CD in NERO on another computer. You might use any of your friends computer to do that.
  • Now take the nrg image file onto your computer.
  • Daemon tools is a software which will install a virtual drive on your computer and you will see an extra CD drive in "My Computer". Using this software now mounts the Nero image file that you have made.
  • Once the mounting gets completed (it just takes a second or two). You can use the CD to install the game and the game will now run perfect as if you are using it on your CD drive. Enjoy!
