Hi Dan,

This one was a bit of a doozy so I pinged our CTO (thanks Chris!)

With a little digging, we've found other people reporting a similar problem. See here -> Download Link

Microsoft's suggested solution is to install their System Readiness Tool. There is one for Windows Vista, and one for Windows 7.

Win Vista – Download Link1

Win 7 – Download Link2

After running this, you should be able to complete the installation.

Let us know how you go!

Nick

You might be using a Windows 7 operating system that somehow need to be updated first to install many software. I also tried to install PDF Nitro on first run of my Windows 7 but to no avail. I tried Adobe Acrobat Reader as well but it also comes with an error. But once I updated my operating system. I tried to install both software again and it run smoothly. I search through the internet and found out the it needs a System Readiness Tool and it can be downloaded either by updating your operating system or go directly to the Microsoft Website.
