Sony BDP-S790 Blu-ray Disc player has a dual-core CPU. In addition to Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD playback, this WiFi connected model supports digital services from Sony Entertainment Network and to other providers. If I use this player with smart TV, how will I manage the internet set up? Knowing that both devices are internet capable.

To do all this, the TV has to be able to connect to the internet. This is done by connecting it to your router and broadband via an ethernet cable, or wirelessly with wi-fi.

If your TV has an ethernet port the chances are it will be DLNA compliant. This allows you to connect to a computer network in your house, letting you stream digital media such as photos, music and video straight to your TV.

The DNLA bit is an industry-wide standard which means enabled devices (be it your TV, computer or mobile phone) can share the content.Using DLNA® you can wirelessly access music, videos and photos from your PCor other compatible Android device and stream them to your Blu-ray Disc Player.
