Some of the smart phones are already available for order basis only in South Africa, according to the website it will be out by June 2012.

When it comes to future phones, the hype machine is centered on the (as yet unannounced) Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5. But don't discount the LG Optimus 4X HD, which is shaping up to be the dark horse of the quad-core race. The 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor uses a fifth battery-saver core to handle less demanding tasks, such as active standby and music playback, while the 12-core graphics processing unit should allow for console-quality gaming. Should be worth a punt when it's released later this year.
LG has produced the Optimus 4X HD with the world's first quad-core powered True HD IPS 4.7 inch display. With a 1.4GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and a 4-plus-1 quad core chip architecture, the LG Optimus 4X HD works at lightning fast speeds for multitasking performance, richer graphics, enhanced gaming and lightning fast web-browsing.
