I read that Retina Macbook Pro has incomparable high-resolution display.

But images from many websites would look pixelated when opened in Safari,

How long do you think it would take for the Web developers to adopt in each websites into a high-resolution display?

Hi there! Yes indeed Retina display is a high resolution display and it’s really very amazing to see images on your iPhone as if they are real. But when you use the iPad or the MacBook, images on the web will look pixelated or blurry. This is because the pixel density in retina display is high such as 4:1. While that on the web is only 1:1. So in order for the images on the web to look crisp on a retina display, website developers should create images twice the current scale. And I think it would take a while for developers to do that.
