How can I change the operating system of this tablet?

There have a default operating system in any tablet. The Asus Padfone has also an installed operating system. It may have Windows XP, it may have Windows seven, it may have Windows Eight, it may have Linux, and it may have Mac etc.
So you need to ensure about your operating system first and then replace it with a new operating system. I recommend you to use windows seven in your Asus Padfone tablet.
So you should buy an original Windows Seven disk or download that program in your computer for install it.
After download that software you should make your Pendrive bootable and then re install your operating system from BIOS.

The new Asus PadFone is a 4.3 inch Smartphone that can fit in a screen of 10.1 inches and thus act as a tablet; A concept that we had already seen at Computex last year. After the converted try of Transformers, this convertible ultraportable tablet, Asus is therefore another adventure with a new concept combining this time it a Smartphone and a splash screen.
So we can understand that the tablet is no more than a hosting station, it will just act as wide display for the Smartphone, while the operation system is running in the Smartphone itself.
The PadFone is provided with Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich which will be on hand and know that applications running on one side can instantly switch from tablet mode to Smartphone mode.
 At the heart of the Smartphone will be found so a chip Qualcomm MSM 8260A S4 whose party processor will be decorated with two cores running at 1.5 GHz. He will be accompanied by 1GB of RAM. As for storage it will be 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB depending on the variations. The latter can be completed via the MicroSDHC card reader.
