Networking issues with bitnami VM and Ubuntu server

Hello to all the tech brains out there! I am sure you can help me with this.

The bitnami VM VMDK file is converted to VHD by using the tool VMDK 2 VHD. The networking is not possible with this because bitnami VM is not having Hyper – V enlightened network. It can be started with bitnami VM with Hyper – V.

I got the following instructions in the MSDN blog, under virtual PC guy to execute ‘Ubuntu server’ by enabling the Hyper – V networking and I followed the above instruction but still networking was not available.

So, I am looking for help to run bitnami appliance with hyper – V.

I will suggest that you try the following workaround to fix the issue:

  • First, get the VMware vCenter Converter stand alone client.
  • Once you have it, point at the file that you downloaded.
  • You will then need to point the file towards the server that you are using.
  • The client will take the file and migrate it to the new server that you have pointed to.

With those few steps, you should be able to fix the problem that you are having, and the network card will not malfunction again. You may also try an alternative procedure from this site instead you want to have another approach in solving the same problem:
