I am encountering issues after forcing for an update on my Cisco Clean Access Agent program. When trying to use it, it has “Network Error! Detail: Unknown String” error and I can’t use the software. This runs on my Windows Vista 32-bit PC. I updated it to 4.1.2.4 and after that, it just started to run falsely. I tried to uninstall, re-install and run system restore but I was unlucky. How can I fix this?

The most likely cause of that error is the update that you did to the Cisco clean agent access program. That could have probably removed all the settings that you have configured in the application and therefore to resolve it you will need to redo the configuration again. System restore will not work in this case because the settings will not be retrieved by returning the system to a previous state. Even when you do a reinstallation of the application, you will still need to configure the settings for it to be able to work again. So just get the manual for that application and see the guidelines for configuring it.
