Hello,
After my last unsuccessful try to burn a DVD I decided to get help online. I was trying to make a backup of my work but while burning with Nero 7 I got this message:
“Fehler! ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK (056400).”
I’m not sure what’s it about so any ideas will be appreciated.

I have some advice and i hope it will work for you. Regarding using NERO 7 and the error regarding ILLEGAL MODE FOR THIS TRACK it means it has a problem regarding your cd/dvd that you are using. In this case it means that you are doing the following:
1st, Using of the already used DVD that the error will occured.
2nd, please check also if you are using dvd room if not and if cd room that install in you pc that error will occrued also. Take note DVD ROOM IS FOR DVD and CD ROOM is CD.
3rd, that dvd you are using are unreadable or not editable that error will occured also.
I also suggest also to use latest nero burner for some advantage please check their site for downloading. I hope it will help you to answer your question.
