Hi guys. I just installed Neo Paint for editing JPEG images and create transparent 32-bit PNG images in a professional level. The problem is the program just crashes when launched. What could be the problem? My desktop is running on a Pentium 4 processor, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB HDD and Windows XP 64 bit.
Neo paint crashes when launched
There could be a number of reasons why the program Neo Paint crashes when it is launched.
I can give you a list of possible reasons and their respective solutions.
Possible reason #1: Your Antivirus and firewall applications usually cause problems launching some software.
Solution: Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall application and then try to launch the application again. If Neo Paint launches successfully, then this means that your Antivirus or Firewall is the culprit. It probably detects Neo Paint as a threat. If that’s the case, find out how to include Neo Paint in your Antivirus or Firewall’s list of safe programs to launch.
Possible reason #2: Another application aside from the Antivirus or firewall is preventing Neo Paint from launching.
Solution: Make sure there are no other applications open when launching Neo Paint.
Possible reason #3: Your computer might be infected with a virus.
Solution: Run a thorough virus scan on your computer. Make sure your Antivirus software is updated so it can detect the recent viruses.
If all these possible solutions do not work, I suggest contacting Neo Paint’s technical support. You can browse through their online forums, send them an email, or call them directly.
