Need some explanation about Management NIC port
I hope this will get you the answer to your questions.
Management NIC port is a server management where we can administer the full maintenance and operation of our server.
Normally the server varies depending on the size and the purpose, so different servers require different management plans.
Server Management is specialized in managing servers in companies. It is a network port where it can be maintained through advanced server management services.
This type of board provides two RJ45 connectors for your on-board NIC or Network Interface Controllers. Checking the back of the board, you can find that the Gigabit RJ45 is on the left for NIC2, and the 10/100 RJ45 port is the connector on the right for NIC1. Note that the NIC1 is designated as the Server Management NIC.
