I am in need of how to combine files from two pc. I know that this can be achieved by using UTP cable. First connect to PC then configure IP's. But do not know the exact IP configuration. Any expert can help me. Thanks.

Hi,
I suggest  you to consider first what type of windows you had.
For windows 95, 98 and ME
> Click start
> Click run
> Type winipcfg.exe then ok
> As winipcfg.exe run you see your IP Address, subnet and default gateway.

For windows 2000, XP 2003 and vista
> Click start
> Click run
> Type cmd and press ok.
> At the console window type ipconfig and press enter or ipconfig/all to see your IP Address, subnet and default gateway.
