I need to learn about creating consoles using microsoft management console windows 7. Please answer comprehensively because I am new to this stuff. Thanks
1. Follow the steps below:
2. Click start, click on run and in the run window, type MMC and press enter.
3. You will see a management console open up as shown in the picture below:
4. Click on the console option near the top. A menu will open up. Click the option “add/remove snap-in”.
5. Now, you will see a window wherein you can specify the snap ins you want to be added and also where they will be added. For this exercise, you should accept the “console root”
6. Now, click the add button. A list will be displayed. Select “computer management”. From the wizard which opens up, select local computer. Then you will see a checkbox asking you to allow the computers you select to be changed, when they are launched from the command line. Select the checkbox and click finish
