I am looking for help to renew SSL certificate. It is to be done from Company’s Server which is Windows 2003 CA. The certificate is expired and the internal web server runs with HTTPS. Please guide me to the proper way. I think it is to be done through Cat’s website. If anybody knows how to fix this problem, please let me know. I will thankful for all help and support.

Hi Emerald,

You can try to use the Certificate Renewal wizard to renew your SSL Certificate on the Windows 2003 Server. You can do it before your SSL Certificate expires or after which is usually not preferred. You can renew the certificate with the use of the same key set you used prior or with the use of a new key set. In renewing a certificate you need to first need to know information regarding the issuing certification authority and information if you wanted to renew using same key set or using a new key set. If you wanted to renew using the same key set, go here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc758448%28WS.10%29.aspx. If you wish to renew using a new key set, go here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc727980%28WS.10%29.aspx.
