I am using Windows 7. Last night when I shutdown my system, my internet connection was working correctly but when I started my computer today, it shows, " unidentified network" ??

Can anyone tell me the solution??

I also experienced this problem before. I would reset my connection but still have this; then I re-install my Windows 7 and it automatically solved the problem.

You can try to do the same, if you still have the problem. Make sure that your local connection or home connection is alright. But properly verify, that your connection is continued by your system operator.

Go to tools, option and advance, settings click no proxy for your country automatically setting. IP address must be default, check it first.

If you have another modem software, then it will be removed instantly.

This may solve the issue.

Thanks

Hey,

My colleague has also faced the same problem in his system. Following steps solved our problem.

By Updating the network driver.
By Resetting the TCP/IP stack

To update the driver follow the steps

  • Start- > search for devmgmt.msc and press enter.
  • Right click on the network card device and select properties.
  • In Properties under the driver tab click on update driver button and after installing the updates restart the computer.
  • Read more on this visit to UPDATE DRIVER.
  • Try resetting the TCP/IP stack by viewing this support URL – RESET TCP/IP

By using Network trouble shooter in windows 7

Go to Start –> Control Panel –> in Search Box type Adapter. Under the Network and Sharing Center go to View Network Connections and now right click on the network adapter and click on Diagnose.

Network trouble shooter will suggest some ways and automatically fix the issues or suggest ideas to do so.

Hope it helps you.
