Hello, I have PDF files that I need to edit and I was advised to use Oracle PDF Import Extension for OpenOffice, however I'm having a hard time with the forms, and the format isn't the way I want it to be. Can anyone please guide me on how to edit PDF files using Oracle PDF Import Extension?
Need help with editing PDF files
Hi Laurel Shifflett,
Follow the instructions below to edit your PDF files using Oracle PDF Import Extension
Install Oracle PDF Import Extension
Open OpenOffice Draw.
Now, browse the PDF file you want to edit
You can edit any text field by double clicking the text and if you want to add new text, click the Text link at the bottom of the window and click the cursor where you want to add the new text.
After finishing all the editing, click the PDF link and export the file as PDF.
It has so many limitations as it can't deal with forms, converting tables etc.
If you are using Windows, there is an alternative
You can download it from here. It offers so many features than Oracle PDF Import Extension and is a paid application.
Hope it helps.
