I want to create a network between two laptops via WiFi,my operating system is windows 7 64bit, and I tried with default network configuration, but I didn't succeed,is there any software or simple steps to create a network via wifi?

Based on my experience here are some steps that you can use to resolve your issue.
First step that you need to do Set up an ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network.
1. Click on START button(windows button) in your desktop.
2. Then,type in the search field "Set up adhoc network" and hit enter then follow the steps in the wizard.(Just type the name of your network and security type should be WPA2.
3. After you create the adhoc network set up.Please go to Network Sharing center.
4. To Share an Internet Connection, Right click on the connection that you want to share. Then click on Properties button,go to the Sharing tab and put a check mark on the checkbox that says Allow Other Network Computers To Connect Through This Computer’s Internet Connection. Don't forget to choose Wireless network Connection under Home Networking Connection and click OK.
5. Then you connect to the network that you created earlier after few seconds it will give you a prompt that the network is ready to use.
6. Check your other computer and connect to PC1's network and start sharing the internet 2 laptops.

Go to – SYSTEM > Preferences > Network Connections
Select Wireless
then Click Add

How to connect two Laptops using wifi in UBUNTU Go to -SYSTEM>Preferences>Network Connections Select Wireless then Click Add Fill the followings Fields Wireless SSID – Name of wifi connection Eg: PHOTON Mode – Adhoc Click available to all. Wireless Security – None IP4 Setting Method – Shared to other computers IP6 Setting Method – Ignore.
Then Enable wireless. You can see created wireless Connection in the top Right corner by clicking wireless Notification icon. Next STEP is connection to this Created Network using another Laptop or PC By doing this Enable wireless in the Second Laptop. Then Click on the wireless Notification icon in the top Right corner of Desktop. You can see the Created wireless connection (Eg: PHOTON)(Otherwise Restart Second Laptop) Select the Connection(PHOTON) If it is not connecting, do the following go to – SYSTEM>Preferences>Network Connections Select Wireless Select Auto PHOTON CLICK Edit Provide What we given Previously for making connection (PHOTON) in the First Laptop. Save it. Try to connect again. Now it will be connected.
NOTE: Do not Confuse with Connection Name & SSID. SSID Should be same in both laptops. Still problem RESTART Laptops.
