I have an Android phone and I need to free main memory. I’m at 96% capacity already used. How can I free up more main memory space without taking my apps off?

Hi,

The Android phones normally store all of the applications in the device’s internal memory. If you have Android 2.2 (Froyo) or later, you can move applications from internal memory to the micro SD card to free the space on your device. But there are some applications that cannot be moved to SD card. These are the steps to move applications to the SD card. These are the steps:-

1. Go to the "Settings" option and tap "Applications".

Go to the "Settings" option and tap "Applications

2. Tap "Manage Applications" > All tabs.

3. It will show all the applications installed on your phone along with the used internal memory by different Apps.

Tap "Manage Applications" > All tabs

4. Tap the Apps that you want to move to SD card.

5. Tap "Move to SD card" button. This button will be grayed for the Apps that cannot be moved.
