Hi, I am using Ubuntu 10.10 and I need to download automatic bios detection and update.

I need bios updates for Fujitsu Lifebook A-series.

Please tell me how to update bios in myself and provide some websites to download them.

Thanks.

Hello Mili,

How are you? Hope you are doing well.

Mili, my suggestion will be never go for any freeware versions to update your BIOS.

You should always go for proper support from Fujitsu.

I got some links for you which will guide you to update your BIOS, and don't worry this is official support from Fujitsu.

Here is the link, follow the steps and your BIOS will be updated.

Hope you will be able to fix your issues.

Thanks.

If you have a Fujitsu laptop and you need to install drivers, the drivers are normally included in the installation CD that came with your device. If you no longer have the CD, you can always download it from the manufacturer’s website. For Fujitsu, go to Fujitsu Support and Downloads. Here, select your device’s model and operating system.

Selecting an operating system will display all the available drivers for that platform. Just download and install all available drivers and software for your device especially the BIOS update. For the Fujitsu Lifebook A series, there are eight (8) models available:

  • A532
  • AH532
  • AH544
  • AH552
  • AH555
  • AH556
  • AH557
  • AH564

Select your model from the list and your correct operating system.
