Hey Bruno alcaraz!

Do not worry about the problem. I have a solution for you. It's a very easy solution you can do it in few minutes. What you need to do is just to follow these steps.

1. Click on Start button and open Run.

2. Type regedit in Run box and hit enter.

3. It will open registry editor. Go to the following path by expanding (+) sign

{ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlSession ManagerMemory Management},

4. Now after reaching there, on the right side, right click on the ClearPageFile and change the value from 1 to 0.

5. Close the registry editor and your window will not take more time in shutting down the windows.

Thanks

The usual reason why a computer takes long to shut down is the number of startup applications that need to be closed. The more applications you have that start with Windows, the longer it takes to completely shut down your machine. Aside from that, it is also affected by the amount of physical RAM you have on your computer.

Because when you have a small amount of RAM, for example 512 MB or 768 MB, it will become much smaller once your computer has completely booted. When you start using applications on your computer, most of the programs’ data will be transferred to your swap file or page file. If you open more applications without closing the previous ones your page file will grow bigger and bigger.

While using the computer, the page file becomes fragmented because of the opening and exiting of different applications. I noticed that even if you already closed all the applications you used, it will still take time to shut down the computer because of the fragmented page file. Also, even if your startup programs load first ahead of the applications you used, some of them will be transferred to the page file.

In this case and you have quite a number of startup programs, it will take longer to shut down your computer because the page file is already fragmented and slow. Removing some of them that are not important will improve the duration of the shut down.
