What software do you recommend for typing a text document in my Windows 7 PC and transfer the text file to my TI-89 Titanium Calculator?

There are few softwares that are available for this purpose. However I will only recommend the following two as I have also used them for my personal usage and they are pretty well in doing the job.

  1. Download the text editor or textpad.
  2. Install the latest version of the softwares.
  3. Once done, open up the specific document that you want to transfer to your titanium calculator.
  4. Connect your calculator to your computer.
  5. Open up the textpad or editor again. Copy all the text from computer to your phone.
  6. Save the editor file and replace the file again to the calculator.
  7. Plug off the calculator from the pc and refresh it. Now you will be able to see the text document in it.

I have understood your problem. You want the text editor for transferring files to TI-89. There are lots of products available in the market. The best software for this would be Textpad , you can download it from official website. There is also a list of Installation Instructions on that page.
