I am using windows XP and I have cleaned some of my item from my computer to get space. Now I cannot insert memory card, phone for photo via USB.Â
For every time I was trying to insert it, it had shown the message "Found new hardware – cannot install this hardware there was a problem installing this hardware. USB Mass Storage An error occurred during installation of device. The data is invalid. Click finish to close wizard".
What can I do now to solve it?

I think it is the fault of your usb device which is not showing into your computer. Try to connect it to another computer or laptop and check whether it work or not, if it work there then it is OK otherwise it is the problem of your usb and you have to change it with a new one. If it does not work in another computer then there is fault with your computer usb port device which needs some reparation and you have to consult to a hardware specialist to solve this problem. It is easy to solve this problem if you are using a USB port then try another port for this reason. You can check you USB on another computer to see that it is working fine and is functional. You can select all possible options to install your USB drivers. If one of your computer ports is not working then try to fix it. But in a case you USB drivers are removed or they are not available to install then you can install one form the website and you will be able to solve your problem. You need to know for which company you are using your USB and then simply install drivers from the network and your device will work fine.Â
