My UPS will not light up after a blackout

I have a Digitek UPS and the problem is each time the power goes out it takes a while before it comes back on even after the power is back. Could it be overheating? How can I rectify such a problem? Or is the transformer having a problem? I need to trouble shoot this but have no idea, how can I start?

Hello Jaay!

Power failure is one of the major reasons why our appliances tend to malfunction or the worse is that it will not turn on again. To check your UPS unseat and re-seat your power cord. Check it again. If no light will show try to check it to a known good power outlet? Open the device and check the fuse if it’s providing support or need to replace. Remove the fuse and ask for the same fuse and capacity in any local hardware. If same status better to bring it to any retail outlet or third party vendor. The main cause of this, every time we experience power failure the power running through our power lines may tend to fluctuate. Most of the time it will go up and off. Once power resumed, fluctuation will happen again the fuse will be the first part to be affected.
