If your Laptop has a 3D acceleration interface supported graphics card then I think I have a solution for you but if you don't have any device like that then I am afraid we have nothing to do but to buy a 3D supported Laptop.

If there is no problem with hardware then you may try following steps :

1. Install Direct X ( latest Version) *** its a simple process like other installation of Apps.

Just click next-next Finish!

2. Restart your computer & you may find your problem is solved. If you don't have the backup of Direct X installation file then you can download it from here

All Microsoft Windows operating systems already come with its own DirectX version and it’s already pre-installed. If by any chance your operating system’s DirectX suddenly doesn’t work, the best way to fix it, I guess, is to reinstall it. Although it can’t be uninstalled from the system, you can always download the appropriate version then run it to begin reinstalling the program. I’m not sure how DirectX would not work since you don’t normally access it like any other programs.

Since you select Windows 7 from the category of your inquiry then I guess you are using Microsoft Windows 7.

The best way to download the latest version of DirectX is to search for it in Microsoft’s website, Microsoft | Download Center | DirectX. Here’s a little history about the different versions of DirectX. DirectX 11 supports Windows 7 and Windows 8. If you are using Windows Vista and you want to install this version, you need to install an operating system update to enable you to install DirectX 11.

You can download the Windows Vista 32-bit update from Microsoft | Download Center | Update for Windows Vista (KB971512) and the 64-bit update from Microsoft | Download Center | Update for Windows Vista for x64-based Systems (KB971512). DirectX 10 supports Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. DirectX 9 is the latest version applicable for Microsoft Windows XP and supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
