1.       Can anyone share some thoughts on this problem I’m having? My Search Administration Crawl logs is prompting a lot of errors, around 150-160. The error incidence is fairly erratic. However, they all originate from just one listing in Sharepoint, with an estimated 6000 excel files (.xslm). I configured the content access account of the application to allow for full reading privileges, along with other permissions as per requirement. Your assistance and recommendation is very much welcome.

Hi Erickson, the Crawl Log viewer uses  Enterprise Search Administration object model to provide you with the ability to view and filter the entries of the search crawl log. Have you tried updating?  Try to re-install the October 2010  Cumulative updates and try to re-run the sharepoint products and technologies configuration wizard. This will  usually fix the most problem, especially like yours. How about Powershell? there is no export to Excel tab, but you can do it in Powershell to excel. You can export the crawl log by following this link: https://en.wordpress.com/typo/?subdomain=davemcmahom81
