My screen saver stopped working after several changes in my PC

Hi to all readers,

I am having difficulty to make my screen saver work. This is working perfectly fine before. As far as I know, there are several changes I did on my computer, but I do not know which of these affected my screen saver.

First, I installed Skype, Visual Basic 6.0 and Adobe Photoshop CS3. Second, I have upgraded my video card, and I switched from USB mouse to wireless mouse, and lastly I changed my desktop wallpaper.

Several options there, but I hope someone can help me. For additional information, my computer is running on Windows Vista.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Andy Bakerson,

I have read out your problem properly that you have submitted. This is a common problem while you are working with a wireless device in Windows Vista. There are some limitations in Windows Vista and I am afraid to tell you that after connecting your wireless device, your screen Savers have stopped working. You can update the update KB911895 and install it on your system and let’s see how the screen saver works or not?

Check this

I think your problem will be solved.

Thank you

Hi dear

The problem occurs when you start working with wireless mouse. Because you know that screen saver is dependent on the working of keyboard and mouse too. So when you make wireless connection with any of these two devices, you must have to make some additional settings. Install the wireless devices properly, and update the wireless drivers. With windows vista, some drivers are also updated.

Jhon have told you about the additional drivers if you need them too, otherwise by installing wireless device’s driver and update them, you will find the solution.

Hope it will help you to understand the problem.
