We have a 2 Samsung S2, one for me and one for my wife. Once my friend sends me picture message when I opened it, it can't be viewed, when he sends it to my wife's S2 she can view it. Does anyone has an idea?

Hello Paul,

You are not able to view picture messages on your phone basically due to the mode of configuration you have used on your phone. Some of the things you will need to check are the following:

  • The MMS settings on your phone. Make sure that they have been set to accept the image in the format that your friend is sending you in. In case the format is not supported then the image will not be able to open.
  • Check you mobile phones and see the available picture formats that are supported. Your wife's phone may be having support for the image your friend is sending you but your does not.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Carl

Samsung galaxy s2 is a popular smart phone of Samsung. If you can’t read your picture message on Samsung galaxy s2, first check your mobile operator. If all thing is ok then you can try check your APN's against Ausdroid –

Check the picture message again, if your mobile internet is working then let it be.

You can find APN’s on Settings – Wireless and Networks – Mobile Networks – Access Point Name.

Try this. Hopefully you will get your message.
