My Outlook Express showing Error message

My outlook express is recently showing an error message, which make me unable to sent mails through that.

Error message says that "error number 0x800ccc17" and it has a error message which says "fpostoffic.isp.net,protocol pop3 port 995,secure (ssl:". It is totally making my plans upside down,

I want some one's help to solve this problem.

Please help me.

Hi Kimghartwick,

The error message implies that you need to enable send authentication. To do this, on your Outlook Express window, Go to Tools, scroll down to Accounts, select your account, click Properties then choose Servers. On that po-up window, enable the "My server requires authentication" option.

After doing this, reset the outlook express to apply the settings.  You could also try creating a new account and profile to test if you will still encounter the problem.

Please make sure that you are using the appropriate server address setting specifically the incoming and outgoing e‑mail servers used by your e‑mail provider because many people get confused when filling the correct information about e‑mail servers.
