Hello

I have bought this optical mouse 7 to 8 months. Now I'm facing a difficult problem. I face a problem of multiple clicks (2 or more than 2) click once. It is really difficult to control that it is clicked the mouse during navigation. It also happened with one of the friends. Its not seems to be a hardware problem because I checked that she and her work well. I replace my mouse? If you have solution, kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Mousefix.exe is a small free application that will have to put in the startup folder and that always runs in the background where the mouse is having the problem. He will oversee their mouse clicks and not let false clicks. Although this application was for Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer optical mouse, it works well with all those defective optical mice. It only uses about 200 KB of RAM at the bottom.

  • Download the utility (Windows NT/2000/XP only).
  • Unzip and place the files in C:Program FilesMouseFix.
  • Create a shortcut to MouseFix.exe and place it in the start menu Startup folder.
  • Log on and then turn it on again, the mouse should already do not double-click on by accident!

Hi,

  • Out of curiosity, how did you make sure that the problem is not on the hardware?
  • Try to use your mouse on other computers. If it's working fine on other system, then there might be a problem on your system.
  • The driver could be somehow broken or it could also be caused by a virus.

Do these steps:

  • Go to Start > Control Panel.
  • Select System.
  • On the left panel, Click Device Manager.
  • Expand the "Mice and other pointing devices".
  • Right click on your mouse name, click uninstall.
  • Restart your system.

When the system starts up, it will reinstall the driver for your mouse. Hope it get rid of your problem.
