Hi,

My Leopard server running on Mac OS X has encountered a problem. It is indicating something regarding authentication failure. I tried several times to solve the problem but no result. If you have any idea for the authentication, please help me.

Thanks in advance.

Received an unexpected authentication failure.

This may be caused by trying to connect to a server prior to version 10.5.8. If this is the case, please install the latest update of Mac OS X Server software on ‘server2.local.’ and try to connect again.

All you have to do is to follow what the warning window said. Install the latest update of Mac OS X server software on server2.local then try to connect again. if that didn't work, looks like you don't have a genuine Leopard. if that is the case, you have to download a new Leopard and install it again. Make sure though that the new Leopard is genuine.
