I have a Lenovo A1000 Tablet and it works just fine until yesterday, the battery stops on functioning. I left it while charging for few hours and today, when I tried to open it, it won't start. It only vibrates but there is no lights or display showing on its screen. I removed the battery and wait for few minutes before I insert it back. The problem is, it is not charging at all. This tablet is only few months old and I never encounter any issues with it. Is there someone here who can help me or the battery won't work anymore?

The steps below may help you to fix the bootup problem.
Below are 3 options to try:
Connect your Tablet to the charger

Hold down the power button for 30 seconds
Remove the Power Adapter and press the power button again for 30 seconds
Plug the Power Adapter into the Tablet again and power the Tablet on.
There is a Fix tool which you can download here on your computer
This tool can help resolve charging issues as well
Once the program has finished downloading, double-click on it to install it.
Once the program has finished installing, connect your Tablet to your computer
This will then automatically start installing a patch, and once the message pops up that says “A1000 tablet has been done, please connect charger”, your Table will have been patched successfully.
Once you have successfully been able to restart your Tablet, check for any software updates but tapping on Settings
Select About Tablet
Tap on Check for updates
If there is an update for your Tablet, tap and download it. Once it has completed downloading, tap on Install Now
