Hi experts,
 I am using windows 7 and my laptop is always updating. Why does system of my laptop need to be updated?
How can I stop my laptop from updating? Thanks.

Hello. The system needs to be updated because Microsoft receives errors and bugs from users and by making updates they fix those errors. In order for you to stop updating your system you need to follow these instructions:
Click Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Update, and from the left column click on Change Settings then the first option from up to down, Important updates and from the scroll-down menu select Never check for updates (Not recommended). Make sure that all the checkboxes from this page are checked off. Click on OK, and you are done.

You can also set Windows to automatically install recommended updates, which can address non-critical problems and help enhance your computing experience.
