Hello Lukasz,

Auto  fix:

  1. Download this file to your desktop.
  2. Close down all open programs.
  3. Run the File.
  4. Click Yes.
  5. Once registered successfully, click OK.
  6. Reboot Computer and that’s it.

Manual fix:

A mouse pad is needed or an onscreen keyboard

  • Start menu, Run
  • Type regedit” then Enter.
  • Click “Edit” menu, then “Find.”
  • Type “kbdclass” then enter.
  • This will search the editor “kbdclass” in it. Look for any name has “UpperFilters” and a data of ” something_random_here kbdclass” Go to “Edit,” “Find Next”
  • Twice click on it, and edit the text “kbdclass”.
  • Do this all (using the “Edit” and “Find Next” menu) to all that has “UpperFilters” keys. Include “kbdclass”.
  • Close the registry editor.
  • Uninstall Code
  • Start Computer and it should work if not, check the wire if unplugged.

Most likely your computer is using the generic keyboard driver which only makes the basic keyboard keys work; the numbers, letters, arrows keys and the F function keys.

Since you are using an order operating system, chances are it doesn't have native drivers for all the keys in your dell keyboard, especially the multimedia keys.

The other system that you were using most likely has a newer operating system. To resolve your problem, go to Dell's website and search for your keyboard's driver there.

Just get it installed and all your keyboard keys should work, and you should be able to make full use of it and perhaps have additional configuration options that the Dell driver or utility may add.
