My iPhone 3G S display is not working

Hi everyone,

I'm using iPhone 3 GS for the last 8 months. Yesterday, while I was using my phone, suddenly I experienced that the lower part of my iPhone screen was not working.

I tried several times, but there was no response. Even I tried with the restore option, but there was no positive result. I use my iPhone very carefully. I don't know what happened.

Please help me.

Hi Christofer,

You need to do a reset. A reset is done by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button, at the same time for at least ten seconds.

Hope this will work for you and your problem will be solved.

Hi,

The easiest way to solve this issue is,  Contact Apple support number 800-APL-CARE (800-275-2273) or 
 
Visit the Genius Bar at any Apple Retail Store and discuss the issue.  Usually they replace your 3G within 10 business days.
 
Contacting Apple directly could be your best chance to repair your iPhone. Trying something with hardware could make your warranty null and void and after all necessary documentation is done, you get a new phone.
