Hi,

This is the common problem mostly of the customers if they are not contented the service of the ISP. The ISP company should explain will to the customer about this Technical Side of the product after the sign-up so that the client aware of this. Here is the IT explanation on this maybe on the speed test your ISP is on pick hours meaning there are many users on that time it is expected to drop down the connection. Try to do speed test on non-pick hours like 12am to 6am and test what will be the result and compare it to the pick hours. If you get what the ISP promised then your problem solved but if the speed still very low even if non-pick hours then you should file a letter of complain to the ISP and they will adjust the speed right away to your agreed speed. Choose the speed test host nearest on your area, so that your testing is accurate.

Thanks,

Your internet speed is limited by the kind of internet account you signed up for with your internet service provider. The only way to up the speed is basically just to get a better, much higher bandwidth internet account with your internet service provider. Or you can also check other internet service providers and see if they have better deals than what you have right now. If you choose to just use what you have right now though, then you'll just have to be able to wait for whatever you are downloading. If you are going to just be browsing though, the speed you have right now should be plenty.
