I use wifi internet connection via router for my laptop. The problem is the internet connection cuts out very soon and in every 15 minutes I don't know why this happens. And also I use the same connection for computer and Ipad but it won't cut out on those two devices. Please help me fix this.
Hi Donald, base on your post, you cannot seem to have continuous connection of your internet via router. So first check for any loose wires connecting your router with your ISP provider. Make sure it is snug tightly and not corroded. Also make sure that the power outlet supplies the correct voltage to your router. There are multiple cases of intermittent internet connectivity if the voltage does not match the router. Another factor that affects internet connectivity is the frequency the WiFi signal is using. If there are other gadgets using the same frequency say 2.4 GHz. Try to check if you are near microwave ovens or portable wireless phones, these devices affect the way the signal is dispersed. Make sure that there are no obstacles that are somehow hampering the signal itself, like walls for example, since the signal will not go through if there are objects blocking it.Â
