Last night, there was a power outbreak and my PC shut down at once. The power break lasted for about an hour so I slept. Today morning when I started my PC, I got a white line on the top left corner of the screen. My PC doesn't boot at all. I think that my Hard Drive has crashed. Please help me regarding this issue.

Here, first thing to do is find a working monitor because you won’t be able to check the problem if your display is not working. Once you have a working monitor, connect it to your computer then try turning on your CPU. If it doesn’t power up, check the outlet where you plugged in the computer and verify that it has power.

If the CPU still doesn’t power up even if there is power in the outlet, while the CPU is plugged in to the power, open the CPU case. Now, check the LED indicator on the motherboard if it is activated. Problem here is that not all computer manufacturers add an LED indicator on the motherboard.

Dell computers normally have an LED indicator on the motherboard while Lenovo desktops don’t have. Check if your motherboard has a built-in LED indicator and verify that it is activated. If the motherboard has an LED indicator but it is not activated, this means there is a problem in the power supply. It could be a busted fuse.

In this case, just bring the CPU to a computer shop to get the power supply checked. The same if your motherboard doesn’t have an LED indicator; it could be a busted fuse. Just bring the CPU to a computer shop and get it serviced.
