My Guruplug server is not booting properly. It gets stuck at the motion program after I have added a motion command at the end of the /etc/rc.local file. How can I resolve the issue and access the system files in the server?

Have you tried restarting the server to as to refresh the settings? The server may be hanging because it is idle and therefore restarting may fix that problem.
Another possible cause for the server freezing will be a lot of information that has been stored on it and therefore making it run on low memory. You will need to check if there are documents that you do not need to them to necessarily reside on the server and move them to an external backup like an external hard drive or another computer. You should also check and make sure that the server is running on a RAM capacity that will make it have the best performance.
