Hi Harry Miller,

You are experiencing this problem which could be the outcome of several reasons.

Make sure to check the following causes for such a problem. If you have one of more of them then do take recommended actions as described.

  • Make sure to put a blank homepage in your Google web browser [tools>options>homepage]
  • Make sure to uninstall any adware/toolbar or any client from Parallel Plesk Panel or linked to it.
[uninstall by going to browser's extensions and remove any other client installed in browser]
  • Make sure to uninstall any other adware/browser toolbar from control panel>add remove programs]
  • Try the same thing on another browser. and uninstall any toolbar/adware installed inside the browser other than Google chrome.
  • Make sure your computer is not infected by a virus.[install an antivirus and update its database as well.
  • If the problem persists then you must install your browser again to get rid of this problem.

Hope this may help you

Hi Harry,

To fix this, go to tools in the menu bar of you browser and click on options.

In the dialog box that will appear, click on the ‘general’ tab and then change the url of your home page to http://www.google.com. Check here for any proxy settings that might be hindering your browser from executing properly. If there are any change them accordingly to the status of the network that you are on.

After you are done with that, click ok.

Refresh your browser by clicking on the refresh button in the menu, or close your browser completely and start it again. It should work properly now.

Hope this helps.
