My forum powered by vbulletin data base error

Hello.  I have a forum powered by vBulletin data base.  I recently deleted some old database and I am now having a Database error in vBulletin :  Cannot use database blacksup_2012.  What does this mean?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

The error you are getting is normally caused by deleting databases, but leaving the files on the server. This happens when the site are being accessed by users and search engines alike. Entirely removing the files from the server should fix the issue. Alternatively, you may turn off persistent connections in vBulletin's config.php to prevent this.
